EcoBlock has approached Travis Horton, Professor of Mechanical and Civil Engineering , on creating an Energy Design Model for the EcoBlock buildout as well as a Geothermal Concept Design as part of the Energy Component of the Feasibility Analysis. Bob Koester of BSU would also participate on the Benchmarking and Building Type analysis.

EcoBlock has a standing relationship with the Purdue on common interest grant applications.
